Are People Stupid For Voting For Clinton?
I figure this would get Hillary supporter’s attention….anyway, as recall from last night during Hillary’s speech she mentioned her so-call victories in Florida and Michigan. My question is – how to do you feel about her pressing to seat those delegates in these states even though the other dem candidates were not listed on the ballot? Do you agree with what she’s doing?
Media: So your intention is to press this issue?
CLINTON: Yes, it is. Yes, it is. It’s in large measure because both the voters and elected officials in Michigan and Florida feel so strongly about this. Senator Bill Nelson, of Florida, early on in the process actually sued because he thinks it’s absurd on its face that 1.7 million Democrats who eventually voted would basically be disregarded, and I agree with him about that.
yes, but I don’t mind, cause mccain will beat her.
Now, I do not think that she will win the nomination, but I had hoped that yesterday would have put an end to any real hope that she had.
I am praying that Obama is ready to really handle them. It is really important that all of us everyday people educate ourselves and those around us to be prepared for what the media throws out there. Do not let what you see on T.V. rule your life!
I am also posting a link to an article from the NY Post about how Obama and Hillary each would do against McCain.http://www.nypost.com/php/pfriendly/prin…
I strongly believe that Florida and Michigan delegates and the voting must count! Both candidates did not campaign…So it’s an even matter, therefore, we must respect and count the people who voted. This is what being Democratic is all about! We must value votes!
I live in Michigan, and honestly she deserves the delegates here. Obama and Edwards chose to NOT be listed on the ballot but under a catagory as “undecided” to punish Michigan for moving it’s primary date. Neither Obama or Edwards campaigned in Michigan for votes either. We are hurting badly in this state and need someone who cares about our welfare too…..Clinton is willing to help us out too….so she deserves our delegates
Well, if the other candidates were not on the ballots in those states, it was not her fault. She was able to get on the ballot, nothing kept Obama from putting his name on the ballot.
Living in the u.s for 18 yrs I think this is a free country and we can vote for who we want and not be called stupid by people who don’t support that person.. correct?
if you are a woman then no. but there are some things i like about both democratic nominees. although i think obama is more personable.
Only a stupid person would ask this question. Fact is – every voter in every state has a right for their vote to be counted – it is an important cornerstone to the rights of all Americans – that includes Florida and Michigan. The phrase yes we can – or yes we will – are not exclusive to either Obama or Hillary. We holler that at every football game !
If the voters of Michigan and Florida are still Americans deserving of a vote then of course they should be counted. No Democrat campaigned in either state yet Clinton won both. All this talk about Hillary quitting is crazy. If you do the math, neither candidate will have the delegates needed to clinch the nomination unless they win the remaining primaries carrying more than 70%. I fail to see why Hillary should step aside and let Obama have it. He does not deserve it. It is not hard to say he has always been against the war when he wasn’t in a position where he even had a vote. Saying that this is what I would have done if.., is a job better left to monday morning quarterbacks . What concerns me is his voting “Present” instead of yes or no more than 140 times while in the Illinois legislature and being the senator with the most missed votes in the Senate since he started running for the office of President with 3 years of federal government experience. He is charismatic, I will give you that. But I do think he is all flash, no substance. Just my opinion.
Read my responses! Then ask your self that question.
What I have said is true I live where the buck stopped.
Absolutely, I am from Michigan and I voted and froze my *** off to vote for Hillary! You cannot take my vote away. Everyone in Michigan had a choice and was aware that you should vote non committed if you did not want your vote to go to Hillary. However, the Obamites stayed home even knowing that they should vote non committed and those non committed delegates would therefore go to the convention and would not have to be loyal to Hillary. The numbers were large for the primary by people wanting to show who they wanted to vote for. I do not think anyone should take that away. I feel very strongly about this.
You might as well say anyone is stupid for voting for anyone.
Voting for fringe Dems is a little that way
Florida and Michigan should have delegates after they run proper elections. They need to get their act together and set up elections. Both candidates’ names need to be on the ballots and both need to be able to campaign.
