Out of those, Texas has the strongest economy and housing market, but South Carolina is the most scenic.
It may also depend on what you do for a living.

I live in Texas. It is a good time to buy a house, but we may not get such a good deal when we sell our present home.
Plano has a little higher property tax than some of the surrounding cities.

The state of “denial” for months we have heard how Rosy the economy was in the USA. Not to worry about gas prices they will take care of themselves. “Don’t’ worry be happy” will be the theme of the McCain in 2008.

Don’t come to Florida! We don’t have low taxes and we won’t be considered Republican much longer. You’ll just have to move again in November! LOL! Anyway, gotta go, plenty of new voters to register out there.
