He’s getting annoying with his announcements of announcements.
He might be the perfect candidate for those conservatives who still want to believe the lies of the Bush administration and believe fox news and talk radio like it’s scripture.Considering he’s an actor and not a bad one from what I’ve seen he might be able to act the part for these less intellectual conservative Americans.I think he has a serious shot at taking the GOP nomination because of Giuliani’s pro choice stand and the rest of the candidates really being second class except for Ron Paul.But Paul won’t take it because he’ll never get the support of the Bush supporters and pro war crowd.Let’s hope he runs as an independent.
Thompson if nominated will loose the general election but he could be the best the GOP has to offer at this point.I also hear rumors he’s a lazy guy and will not put in the work needed to run an effective campaign but that was said about Reagan too so who knows.
I don’t think he can defeat the Clinton machine and again I think his main appeal is to the anti intellectual regressive right who put Bush in the white house
