Disturbing That Hillary Is The Only Dem To Flout Her Party’s Rulings And Campaign In Mich & Florida…?

2009 July 9

(This question has nothing to do with Republicans in any way shape or form, okay?)
When Michigan & Florida moved their primaries up, the Democratic party stripped both states of their delegates as punishment. The other candidates agreed not to campaign or run in those two states.
Hillary seems not to care about the ethical ruling of her party.
Does that disturb anyone else as to the kind of president she would make?

It’s disturbing that the Democratic Party leaders chose to leave Michigan and Florida out… I’m disappointed in Howard Dean.
That being said, Hillary broke her pledge not to campaign in Florida by running commercials. This is deceitful, and means I won’t even consider voting for her anymore. She may still become President, and may become a good President, but I will always hold her deceit against her. She one a one-horse-race, because she was the only one willing to win-at-all-costs, by cheating. Either Obama or Edwards would be a better President. I think honesty is important. I want to be able to trust my next president.. especially since President Bill was known for his one big lie, and Bush was known for his thousands of lies. (over 900 documented and certified lies on one topic!) Now, is the time more than ever, that we need an honest President.

I think that it is Risky, but not disturbing. She wants to get her message to as many as possible (if that’s true) – then it would be an Honest tactic.
Most in both parties don’t follow their own rules, anyway?
I’m sure that there is something in both charters that mentions Integrity – and we all know that that has been out-the-window for decades.

It tells us that meaningless contests are very important to her. It has nothing to do with ethics. It has to do with those primaries being a waste of time. If it was just an ethical issue, I’m sure the other candidates would have been right there with her.

Hillary was only making a symbolic stand for the citizens of Florida and Michigan…she knows that because of those states ignoring the wishes of the DNC, that delegates would not be awarded…thus these states “punished” the voters by breaking the rules…and making it to where their votes didn’t count. Hillary was showing that the voters DO matter and their Votes ARE important. What is so disturbing about that? stop spinning the truth because you’re mad that hillary raked obama over the coals in florida.

When has she ever cared about rules?
Rules are for loosers and she will do anything to win, that must be getting rpretty obvious by now.

No, it shows quite the opposite. It shows that she actually gives a damn about the pointless states.

another way to look at it is she thnk michigan has a say. I wouldn’t vote for the other 2 because they did drop michigan. Which tells me thy don’t care. This is coming from someone in michigan. this also happened in calfi.

Ooh! Big deal people know the name Clinton! They are smart – oh please….
I love you people that say Hillary cares about the people of Michigan and Florida. She is only there to claim those states as wins and fool the american public into thinking that she won those states in an equal battle. People are voting for her because she is well known by her last name…Obama and all other candidates were told not to campaign there because it wouldn’t matter…so she won a fight where no one raced against her.

Does it really surprise you in the least? She is the Queen of ethical violations.

Absolutely. I have nothing but contempt for her for not taking her name off the ballot in Michigan, and for campaigning in Florida in violation of party rules. This demonstrates that she has no ethics at all, other than the rule of WIN AT ALL COSTS.
    Disgusting.

Clinton did not campaign in Florida. She had two private fundraisers which were allowed per the agreement. Also, Obama aired commericials throughout Florida under the excuse that he could only by a block of ads that included Florida. So all you Obama supporters that are misinformed should check your sources. Obama was the only candidate to run ads in Florida.
