John Mccain Already Chosen His Running Mate Alabama Governor Bob Riley?
Have heard from a number of Republican party officials in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi that McCain considered Fl governor Crist but the rumors of he may be gay killed choosing him. Also Miss. Governor Haley Barbour was considered but many didnt like his demeanor and “looks”, so McCain chose Riley, mainly due to his Reagan looks, his appeal even to democrats (59%), and the fact that Alabama has the best economy in the country, and under Riley has landed more economic projects than any governor in the states history… and that could appeal greatly to higher unemployment democrat leaning states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Iowa. Also its not surprising as McCain visited Alabama 9 times from 2005 to 2006 (before he announced he was running for president).
I’m from Alabama and I don’t see that happening.

I seriously doubt that McCain has chosen a running mate yet. It’s way too early in the campaign.
There is nothing to support this. It has as much merit as any other speculation.
And…I really don’t think McCain would want to showcase a constant reminder of the Abramoff thing…
