The constitution of the United States make it clear that the states elect the President , not the political parties (not even the popular vote). The National Democrat party has no authority to tell the states when to hold their primaries. With Florida and Michigan being “excluded” how is that fair to those states and the voters? If the delegates from those states are seated with Obama not even on the ballot in Michigan, how is that a fair representation of that state? Every vote counts, only when the DNC likes when and how they are cast. Even worse the process gives more weight to party bosses and political hacks. If this is the best these people can do, how the heck can they run a country? DNC in a nut shell, do what we want, do it our way regardless of what is fair or just, or true to the constitution. I say toss the whole bunch out and start over! What this country needs is 5 or six major parties, that way ideas will win elections and not blind trust in the untrustworthy!

As reported in West Virginia and Tennessee. http://www.democracynow.org/
“Early Voting Sees Reports of Voter Intimidation, Machine Malfunctions
Early voting has begun, and problems are already emerging at the polls. In West Virginia, voters using touchscreen machines have claimed their votes were switched from Democrat to Republican.”
“Just days after reports that six early voters in at least two West Virginia counties claimed their votes were switched from Democrat to Republican, a couple in Nashville, Tennessee reported similar problems with paperless voting machines. In West Virginia, one voter said, “I hit Obama, and it switched to McCain. I am really concerned about that. If McCain wins, there was something wrong with the machines.”
In Tennessee, a filmmaker couple also had difficulties casting their vote for the Democratic candidate, the Brad Blog reports. They had to hit the Obama button several times before it actually registered, and in one case it momentarily flipped from Obama to Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney. Patricia Earnhardt said, “The McKinney button was located five rows below the Obama button.” The couple in Nashville were using machines made by the same company as those in the counties in West Virginia—by Election Systems and Software.
Meanwhile, there are reports of long lines at early voting sites in several other states, including some counties in Texas, Florida, Nevada and New Mexico.”
How widespread are these kind of problems? Have you experienced this?

Enough already.
The first 2008 presidential votes may be moving into 2007 after all, making a race that has started earlier than ever even more intense.
South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Katon Dawson will announce that he is moving its primary date ahead of Florida’s Jan. 29 vote, to reclaim his state party’s “first in the South” presidential-nominating banner. But he will do so in New Hampshire, home of the first-in-the-nation primary. And he will be joined by New Hampshire’s longtime Secretary of State Bill Gardner, who alone has the power to set that state’s date for both parties, now tentatively Jan. 22.
If both were to move their dates up, that likely would force Iowa — always protective of its party caucuses as the first nominating contests of any kind — to consider moving its date from next Jan. 14 into pre-Christmas December. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2007/08/08…

Lanny Davis claims that Hillary shouldn’t have to live up to the Democrat Party document she signed stating that Florida and Michigan votes wouldn’t count if they moved up their primaries earlier than February 5th. Lanny says that Obama didn’t support revotes in Michigan and Florida.
However, Lanny conveniently ignores the fact that the document Hillary signed says that she recognized that Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina and a valuable and historic role to play in the early nomination process. He ignores that the campaigns would have had to pay for a revote. And he ignores that Michigan (for example) has already proposed that they can split their delegates: 69 for Clinon and 59 for Obama (based on the percentages in the primary).
IS SHE TAKING OBAMA DOWN JUST TO RUN AGAIN IN 2012??

How does that make you feel, that in a country were everyone is suppose to be seen equally, that they didn’t count everyone’s vote before they announced the new president. Basically they didn’t count the paper votes and even some states that that they assumed were already Republican or Democrat. Also 4 states, including California, Florida, reported voter fraud but didn’t look into it. Isn’t this like the Iran election where the people there think the election was rigged.
Do you feel we are slowly starting to go back into discrimination but this time its what stat you live and if you used paper votes? Do you think we might soon be having rigged elections? Officials said that some people that are smart can do voter fraud in a County. Do you think they are just rushing the elections of officials and not counting all the votes to the very last one? Do you think we might soon have an election like the Iranians did where are leader might rig the election and not allow people to look at the votes?
PS there is no wrong answer except for trolling.
