Congratulations to Hillary. She'll be the winner of a one horse race.
It really helped her a lot in Michigan, didn't it?

I think she should be careful. She has tread on sacred ground with the Democratic party lately.
When the Clinton's framed Obama as a traditional black candidate --- suggesting his only appeal is with Black voters (not born out in the polls btw) --- they really upset African American Dems. It was oppression politcs.
The reason big names in the DEM party came out smacking the Clinton's and endorsing Obama is that they see Hillary is running a scorched earth campaign. If Hillary wins the nomination by smearing the first legit national black candidate, she would not do well in the national vote with African American voters and probably neither would the party. Furthermore, her actions if left unchecked could lead to the African American vote going from firmly DEM to undeclared moderate like the Hispanic vote. She could essentially permanently alienate a firm 15% of the populace that regularly votes Dem --- this would be akin to the Reagan revolution where Southern Dems became Evangelical Republicans.
Both Parties have the country split up to where certain parties almost always get elected in certain areas. That is why moderates usually are not elected. Pandering wins. On the Dem side, the African American vote is crucial in many if not most of those areas.
The Clintons were messing with the fabric of the Party and the Party fought back. Quite honestly, the Democratic Party may be at war with the Clinton's behind locked doors. It feels like there has been a siezmic shift in the political landscape in the last 2 weeks and the party powers have dropped the Clintons and moved to Obama. The Clintons will have a very difficult time if that is the case, as Obama pulls 2 Indys for every 1 Hillary pulls.
If she goes through with appearing in Florida and "claiming victory" as it has been reported, she is going worlds of crap falling on her.
The Democratic Party said Florida and Michigan would have not delegates. If she in essence "claims Florida", she might have the Party digging in their heels on this one and PUBLICALLY CORRECTING HER.
That would be outweigh any bump she got from "the win".
Additionally, that would expose her ace in the hole --- if the race is close Hillary will almost certainly sue to have Florida and Michigan counted. Since she was the only of the front runners on the ballot in Michigan (not sure about Florida), counting those delegates would probably throw the election to the Clintons.
If she, in essence, "claims them" now, that gives the party time to fight it in court and time to swing their support en-masse to Obama who is playing within the rules. Additionally, Obama can run ads that politely point out the despiration of the move. She then becomes even more of a fringe candidate as the rank and file Dem supporters fall away under such and obvious attempt to game the election.
If the race is not close, then whether or not Florida and Michigan count is irrelevant. Hillary at that point would not bother to question it. The Party's authority over Primary dates remains unchallenged.
It is becoming in the Party's interest to help Obama run away with this race.

Here's what Obama wants you to vote for:
Again I ask: What country, or what entity, is it that Obama is seeking to lead and exactly whose interests and what values is he looking to preserve and protect?
The Washington Times reported recently about a heretofore-secret 2005 report done by the Drug Enforcement Administration that discusses Islamic radicals who are "camouflaging themselves as Hispanics while conducting business with violent drug-trafficking organizations." According to the report, "multiple Middle Eastern drug-trafficking and terrorist cells in the U.S. are funding terrorism networks overseas with the aid of Mexican cartels."
Do you get the idea that Barack Obama has some kind of strange idea about what it means to protect this country?
Obama seemed quite at home with the La Raza crowd, dishing out business-as-usual ethnic politics. After conjuring up the mother of all entitlements – that anyone who can sneak in here is entitled to become a citizen – he then assured them that virtually every aspect of their life would be benevolently protected by a government under his leadership.
But as Obama shared his vision of America as welfare state to this audience of Hispanics, he failed to also share that, as our nation's youngest ethnic demographic, they have the most to be concerned about regarding the shaky ground on which this welfare state stands.
